Seeing the World Again!

Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India

Arman and Namra’s grandfather desperately wanted to restore his grandchildren’s eyesight. Both were born sighted, but became almost completely blind due to cataracts.

Their grandfather said, “They do very little. They only sit, because when they walk they constantly run into things and fall.”

For this family, affording eye surgery, especially for two children, was impossible.

“I would sacrifice my own life, if it meant my grandchildren would get to see again,” said their grandfather.

When we found out about this brother and sister, Operation Blessing covered the full cost of their surgeries.

“My grandchildren can finally live normal lives,” said their grandfather. “I am grateful to God that they’re able to see the world again. When they grow up, they won’t be dependent on anyone. God used you to do this great work. My children and I are very happy.”
