In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says Roe vs. Wade was wrongly decided and would like to see it changed. “It’s been very strongly decided but it can be changed,” Trump tells The Brody File during our interview Thursday afternoon in Charleston South Carolina. “Things are put there and they’re passed but they can be unpassed with time but it’s going to take time because you have a lot of judges to go.” When we asked whether the landmark abortion case was wrongly decided, he said, “I do.”

Trump leads with evangelical voters in South Carolina despite being pro-choice for most of his life. He’s now pro-life but the Cruz campaign hopes voters sift through his past record very carefully. They say he can’t be trusted on the abortion issue. Evangelicals will need to weigh the body of evidence as well as the total package that each candidate offers to them.

David Brody:  “Roe V. Wade: do you think it should be overturned and would you put Supreme Court Justices or would you look at Supreme Court Justices that felt that way.”

Donald Trump: “I will put people on that are going to be very very good and constitutionalists and they’re going to do a good job but it’s going to take a long time.” (Partial Transcription)

David Brody:  “But beyond judges, do you believe Roe V. Wade was wrongly decided back in the day, back in 1973?”

Donald Trump: ‘Well I do. It’s been very strongly decided but it can be changed. Things are put there and they’re passed but they can be unpassed with time but it’s going to take time because you have a lot of judges to go.”
