In yet another exclusive interview with The Brody File (our ninth this election cycle alone), Donald Trump says he has a message for those evangelicals that may be skeptical about voting for him.

"I just want the people to remember: United States Supreme Court. Whether they love me or like me or don't like me, we're going to put great justices, pro-life justices, we're going to put Second Amendment justices and I think for the evangelicals it's so important that they get out and vote," he said.

The GOP presidential nominee and his wife Melania sat down with us Thursday afternoon in Washington, D.C. Watch The Brody File blog for additional clips and check out The 700 Club for the main story airing across the country Thursday.

Look, the reality is pretty simple: if evangelicals show up in droves, Trump wins. Forget all the polling you see. A record turnout by evangelicals seals the deal for Trump.

Essentially, Trump became the GOP nominee because of them and now they'll have to do a major encore. On Election Day, remember this number: 80 percent. If evangelical numbers are up in 2016 and Trump gets 80 percent of the evangelical vote that day, then Hillary Clinton may want to grab the extra strength Excedrin.

Some last thoughts about our interviews with Donald Trump: the fact that Trump has sat down with us nine times says something. First of all, he recognizes that we're fair. Barack Obama also sat down with us four times during his presidential run and said the same thing.

Secondly, when you are authentic and real like Trump, it allows you to do NINE interviews in front of our predominately Christian audience even though you've had some baggage in your past. It's extremely refreshing, unlike past politicians who run away from Christian TV for fear of saying something that might get them into trouble.

Thirdly it should also be noted that while politicians typically want to know the interview subject matters ahead of time especially when talking to a Christian audience, that's not been the case with Trump. He just speaks from the heart and lets it rip the way he sees it. Refreshing instead of staged like politicians.

Finally, I understand that he gets something out of these interviews. He needs evangelicals to win. He's smart enough to understand that he needs to be seen and heard in front of a huge evangelical audience.

Now, you might say that is a no-brainer strategy. Not so fast. Mitt Romney granted us two interviews during the 2012 presidential cycle. Not Trump. He's one of a kind.
