Candace Payne -- better known as the "Chewbacca Mom" -- is using her voice to bring healing and peace to American society in a video that, so far, has tallied more than 4 million views.

Payne lives just 30 minutes away from Dallas, where five police officers were killed and seven were injured in a sniper attack during peaceful protests of the police killings of two black men in Baton Rouge and Minneapolis.

Payne began her video talking about the recent shootings and the sadness across the world, saying she's hoping to spread some joy.

Payne also noted she has been silent the past few days because she has been so sad and hurt by the recent incidents.

She broke her silence through her own arrangement of Michael Jackson's "Heal the World."

"I feel like someone needs to sing these lyrics over the world," Payne says.
