JERUSALEM, Israel -- After a day of relative quiet, terror attacks seemed to be picking up again.

An Israeli driver was killed in a hit-and-run after exiting his truck to inspect damage from a rock attack.

Magen David Adom paramedics found the driver, a man in his 50s, lying near his truck. He had been run over and critically injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial reports indicate the rock attack took place as he drove through the Al Fawar junction southwest of Hebron.

The victim was identified as Avraham Hasno, 55, a resident of Kiryat Arba near Hebron.

A few hours later, a Palestinian terrorist who tried to run down two Israelis with his vehicle at the Gush Etzion Junction was shot and killed. His intended victims sustained light injuries.

Earlier Tuesday, a Palestinian terrorist who stabbed an Israeli soldier was shot and killed at the scene.

The soldier was lightly wounded in the attack.
