New Questions about Lynch Impartiality on Clinton Investigation

New questions are being raised about whether U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch can be impartial when it comes to the ongoing criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton.

That comes after Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton at the airport in Phoenix.

The ABC News affiliate in Phoenix says Clinton had directed his plane to delay its departure when he found out Lynch's plane was about to land there. The two then met aboard a private plane parked on the tarmac at Sky Harbor International Airport.

Lynch is in charge of the U.S. Department of Justice, which oversees the FBI. And the FBI is investigating whether Hillary Clinton broke the law when she used a private email server to send sensitive or classified information while secretary of state.

Some conservatives are concerned Lynch may not pursue charges against Clinton because she's a political ally.

Lynch says she and Bill Clinton did not discuss the FBI's investigation of the Clinton email scandal during their private, impromptu meeting.

She says they just talked about grandchildren and golf.
