Truth Check: Did Democrats Pay to Setup Violence at Trump Rallies?
Dirty tricks and dark money are dogging Donald Trump and the Republicans this election cycle and an investigative journalist and his team say they know why.
A group called Project Veritas, headed by investigator James O'Keefe, has just released part one of their undercover video investigation.
The video includes a conversation with Scott Foval, national field director at Americans United for Change. Foval details how paid operatives--including the mentally ill, homeless, and union members were trained to "birddog" Trump rallies and disrupt them in Chicago, Arizona, and elsewhere.
Some of the operatives attended rallies wearing Planned Parenthood t-shirts and Nazi attire in an effort to elicit a violent response from Trump supporters.
The violence was planned to take place in front of television cameras so the narrative would be reported that Trump supporters are angry and violent--they assault and beat anyone who oppose them or they find offensive.
Project Veritas also alleges involvement by the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and the Democrat Super PAC Priorities USA in the effort. It claims its one-year investigation verifies that the presidential election process is corrupt and rigged.
