Hand Chopping Case Spotlights Sharia in America?

Two leaders of a West Philadelphia mosque are accused of trying to chop off a follower's hand with a machete after a Monday morning prayer service.

The alleged incident happened at Masjid Ar-Razaqq Ul-Karim mosque.

Police say the suspect, Merv Mitchell, and the mosque's imam accused the man of stealing. Chopping off his hand was his punishment.

Officers have arrested Mitchell, who is also known as Mabul Shoatz. They are still looking for the unidentified imam.

Robert Spencer, a noted authority on Islamic terrorism, told CBN News that this case is an example of Shariah law at work in the United States.
