The New England Police Benevolent Association boycotted President Barack Obama's Labor Day breakfast address in Boston Monday, citing his reticence to condemn the murder of police officers or reach out to their families or communities.

"Our members are enraged at his lack of support of law enforcement. It's clear that he has an agenda and unfortunately the police are not part of his agenda," Jerry Flynn, executive director of the organization, told the Boston Herald.

Flynn also said Vice President Joe Biden promised he would be the voice of law enforcement in the Obama administration, but he's been silent instead.

"So it's not an Obama problem," Flynn said. "It's an administration problem."
