Josh McDowell: Bible's Apparent Contradictions, Discrepancies Disappearing

Biblical expert Joshua McDowell says modern research and archaeology are steadily shrinking the list of alleged contradictions and discrepancies that fueled Bible doubters for centuries.

In his latest book, 77 FAQs About God and the Bible, McDowell answers questions like "What proof is there that Jesus is Messiah?" and "Is the Bible a product of God, humans, or both?"

"Archaeology has probably cleared up over half of all what appeared to be alleged discrepancies in the scripture, "said McDowell.

McDowell says that every single reference in the Book of Acts has been verified through archaeology and that historical references in the book of Luke clears doubt that the text is inaccurate.

"You can't get much better evidence, historically, than that and we have that in the scriptures," he said.
