Florida Gov. Declares State of Emergency as Colin Makes Landfall

Tropical Storm Colin made landfall just before midnight Monday, drenching much of Florida with heavy rains.

High wind gusts, rain and thunderstorms swept across many parts of the state, prompting Gov. Rick Scott to declare a state of emergency.

Tropical force rains have also pounded Georgia and South Carolina.

Meanwhile, Operation Blessing is helping flood victims in Texas.

Flooding of historic proportion in the Lone Star State has forced many Texans to evacuate their homes.

Operation Blessing is now on the scene to help while also offering prayer and comfort to families in the region.
