“For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” - (NLT)

Looking for an unrivaled travel experience and food that will ignite your taste buds? A beautiful city filled with vibrant life on every corner? Look no further. Jerusalem is one of the biggest culinary centers in the country.

Take a walk with us as we uncover Jerusalem's hidden gems. We’ve locked down the top five food spots that you don’t want to miss.

        AZURA
        Address: 4 Eshkol Street, Jerusalem

Established in 1952 at the Machane-Yehuda market, Azura is a fan-favorite to CNN’s personality, chef and author, Anthony Bourdain. Relax on the outside patio and enjoy dishes such as Kube Soup, Sofrito, Moussaka and the famous rice-with-beans and Bull’s-Tail are served here all day - until they are sold out! This happens more often than you would think. So don't delay, and make sure you don't miss out on Azura’s Hand-made Turkish-Jewish food. This is definitely an authentic food experience you do not want to miss!

        RACHA
        Address: 6 Havatzelet Street, Jerusalem

Have you ever been to a place where you felt welcome the moment you walked in the door? This is the place for you. Racha is an Israeli-Georgian restaurant with great food, warm hospitality and an unmatched atmosphere. Racha is a memorable spot because of the historic 100-year-old building, the warm welcome from the owner (sometimes even a hug!) and the extensive selection of gourmet Georgian foods that will fuel the soul!

        HUMMUS BEN-SIRA
Address: 3 Ben Sira Street, Jerusalem

Hummus fan? We've got you covered. The most famous middle-eastern dish is executed perfectly at Hummus Ben Sira. Fresh homemade hummus, with various toppings to choose from, is served in this intimate quiet place. Enjoy your hummus with a side of fries and a couple pieces of Pita bread to wipe your plate clean!

        HATZOT STEAK HOUSE
        Address: 121 Agripas Street, Jerusalem

Copying is the best form of flattery and that’s exactly what happened here. This popular spot was established in 1970, and became famous for inventing the “Jerusalem-Mix”- a dish containing a mixture of variety meats, grilled with their secret seasonings. Hatzot pioneered this culinary masterpiece and the country followed suit. You can also enjoy a wide array of chicken, turkey or beef. All entrees are served inside a pita bread with your choice of sauces and salad.

        CAFE KADOSH
Address: Shlomzion HaMalka Street 6, Jerusalem

Sit back, relax and stay awhile. Established in 1967, this European-style cafe used to be a meeting point for all the Jerusalem elite in the 1970’s. To this day, it remains one of the best cafes in Jerusalem with their very own bakery. Café Kadosh will give you a taste of home and serve food so good, you’ll be back the next day.

Experience history beyond its words.  Your journey begins here ... in Israel.
