A New Heart for Pakon

CBN.com Pakon Kuntamat, 57, from Nong Kai found some success as a businessman, but happiness seemed to elude him.  He described himself as proud and hot-tempered and said that he wasted too much of his income on alcohol and partying.  That lifestyle led him to finally hit rock bottom.  He was broke and hopeless.

Searching for answers, Pakon began watching CBN Siam’s From Heart to Heart TV program and was greatly encouraged by the hosts and testimonies. After watching the show for a year, he decided to go to church and study the Bible.

Pakon received the Lord at Yenezareth Church on July 2, 2006. His life has radically changed for the better.

“I used to have a heart that was easily angered but now I have developed a soft, gentle heart. I now know how to forgive,” Pakon said. “[Even] if I don’t have money, I am not anxious anymore because I have committed everything to the Lord.”

Pakon now spends more time with his family. His son, who used to party with him, has also accepted the Lord.  Pakon has become a devoted evangelist.  He and his son distribute CBN’s literature to others, telling them about the God who has changed their lives.

Pakon told CBN, “Right now, my office has become like CBN’s second office because it is full of VCD’s and books from From Heart to Heart. CBN makes these resources available for evangelism, and I keep ordering them and giving them out.”
