Bible Verses about Learning

It is vital we keep ourselves spiritually intelligent by studying, learning and knowing the Word of God. Here are some verses to help support the importance of continued spiritual learning.

The Benefits of Knowing God’s Word

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding – indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:1-5 NIV

Let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good. Job 34:4 NIV

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives. Titus 3:14 NIV

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. 1 Timothy 5:4 NIV
