Virtual Event Honors ‘Bridgebuilders’ Between Christians And Jews

In recent history, some have seen a remarkable and positive shift in the relationship between Christians and the Jewish people.  For two thousand years, much of that relationship had been marked by anti-Semitism, but now many Christians and Jews are working together.  The Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and Christian Friends of Yad Vashem are two examples of this new relationship.

To celebrate this new phenomenon, Roots Source and Israel 365 are sponsoring an online event honoring those they consider Bridgebuilders: Top Activists in Christian-Jewish Engagement.

As they describe it:  This list comprises Jews and Christians, women and men, newcomers and veterans, clergy and laymen, residents of countries around the world, in fact, nothing brings them all together except for their belief in God, friendship, and the commandment to act on both!

You can see this Zoom event on Sunday, August 4th at 19:00 Israel time and 12:00 noon East Coast time in the US.  Here’s the website:  https://root-source.com/bridgebuilders/
