Obamacare's HealthCare.gov website was hacked in July, according to federal health officials.

The Wall Street Journal reports someone hacked into part of the site and uploaded malicious software.

But investigators didn't find any evidence that anyone's personal information was compromised.

"Our review indicates that the server did not contain consumer personal information; data was not transmitted outside the agency, and the website was not specifically targeted," Department of Health and Human Services officials said. "We have taken measures to further strengthen security."

Security was a major issue for HealthCare.gov after the disastrous early rollout.

And analysts say the latest hacking, along with thefts of consumer information from major businesses as well as celebrities' iPhones, shows that personal information still isn't always safe online.
