FBI Deputy Director McCabe Stepping Down
A CBN source confirms FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe was forced out ahead of planned retirement. The source adds that McCabe wasn't following the rules regarding the Hilary Clinton emails but wouldn't elaborate with more details.
McCabe was temporarily in charge of the FBI after President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
McCabe was set to officially retire in March.
U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said, "As President Trump escalates his contemptible assault on law enforcement, Congress and the American people deserve a full explanation from FBI Director Wray regarding the circumstances of Deputy Director McCabe's departure. FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is a professional, dedicated law enforcement officer whose lifetime of experience and expertise will be sorely missed at the Bureau."

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is, and has been, a dedicated public servant who has served this country well. Bogus attacks on the FBI and DOJ to distract attention from a legitimate criminal inquiry does long term, unnecessary damage to these foundations of our government.
