In regards to entertainment, all eyes are on "Jurassic World" opening in theaters this weekend. Does it live up to the hype and is it family friendly?

The adventure flick starring Chris Pratt resurrects the popular 15-year-old franchise "Jurassic Park."

It's a "monster of a movie," according to Focus on the Family's Plugged In Online Director Bob Waliszewski, who gave the film a 3 out of 5 for family friendliness.

"This is not a film for little ones," Waliszewski said.

"You'll hear solid statements about sticking by your familial loved ones -- even when not threatened by a gob full of foot-long razor-sharp teeth," Plugged In movie reviewer Bob Hoose said.

"But speaking of those terrifying teeth," he continued, "you'll also see some seriously freaked-out folks being gobbled up whole, squashed by gigantic monster mitts, or swept screaming into the air by sharp-clawed creatures in this feature."

For families with young children, Plugged In recommends the swashbuckling action Christian film "Beyond the Mask," opening in a limited release.

"Can a bad man ever truly be good? That's the core question in 'Beyond the Mask,' an adventurous, pre-Revolutionary War story," movie reviewer Adam R. Holz said. "The film's answer is that while good intentions can bend a person's moral trajectory a bit, ultimately God is the only one who can thoroughly redeem the tainted human heart."
