Storm Relief Efforts Wrapping Up in San Marcos

CBN's Operation Blessing is wrapping up its emergency relief operation in San Marcos, Texas.

In the past few weeks since floods destroyed communities, teams of volunteers have been helping residents clean out debris and rebuild.

In addition to bringing physical relief, teams also had the opportunity to provide spiritual comfort by praying with some residents.

Residents have expressed their gratitude to Operation Blessing. Volunteers, in turn, say they're honored to have been such an integral part of the relief effort.

"I might not be able to rebuild people's homes for them or give them the financial funding, but I've got strength and energy to help the process along," volunteer Katelyn Moore said.

"I just think it helps people heal when they know there's a lot of people out there willing to help them out," she added.

Operation Blessing is now getting its equipment stocked and ready for the next deployment.
