A Seattle church was vandalized with racist graffiti over the weekend. Vandals sprayed Curry Temple CME Church with swastikas and messages telling the congregation to "go back to Africa"

The vandals also broke into the church, but officials are uncertain if anything has been stolen.

"Right now there's a state of confusion," Kiara Porter, a representative of Curry Temple, told The Seattle Times.

"A lot of us don't understand why our church would be targeted," Porter added.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating the crime.
