Under Pressure, DOJ Releases Full Transcript of Orlando Attacker's 911 Call

The Department of Justice and the FBI reversed course after saying they would scrub any words referencing who the Orlando attacker pledged allegiance to during his 911 call the night of the massacre.

Under pressure from Republican leaders, the Department instead released a full, uncensored transcript of the Omar Matteen's 911 call.

An earlier version of the transcript had deleted the word “Islamic State” and the name of ISIS leader “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,” according to Fox News.

Earlier, Attorney General Loretta Lynch told NBC's Meet The Press Host Chuck Todd that the FBI would release an edited transcript of the conversation between the Orlando nightclub shooter, Omar Mateen, and the police on Monday.

Mateen spoke in Arabic to a 911 dispatcher, identified himself as an Islamic soldier and demanded to a crisis negotiator that the U.S. "stop bombing Syria and Iraq," according to the released transcripts.

Mateen also told police, "Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God."

However Lynch insisted the DOJ would not identify to whom he was pledging.

"What we're not going to do is further proclaim this man's pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups and further his propaganda," Lynch said.

Lynch is one among several politicians yet to acknowledge the Islamic ideology behind the terrorist attack in Orlando. She's also been known to follow a politically correct agenda with Muslims in the past. She discussed the punishments for those who use "anti-Muslim rhetoric that edges toward violence" at the Muslim Advocates dinner last year in Arlington.

Those comments were made right after the San Bernardino terrorist attack December 2.

Lynch said her "greatest fear" was the "incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric" in America. Those words fall in line with the confusion among Lynch and other U.S. leaders in identifying a motive behind the attack.

One of Mateen's Facebook posts said, "I pledge my alliance to (ISIS leader) Abu akr al Baghdadi... may Allah accept me."

His other posts included comments like, "The real Muslims will never accept the filthy ways of the west," "You kill innocent women and children by doing U.S. airstrikes..now taste the Islamic state vengeance."
