Tony Suarez on Trump's Miami Campaign Rally: 'Not a Latino Event, But an Evangelical Event at a Spanish Church'

President Trump reached out to evangelical voters at a Miami, Fla., campaign rally held on Friday.

He launched his new "evangelicals for Trump" 2020 initiative at the Latino megachurch King Jesus International Ministry and he touted his record in some key areas, including religious liberty, Israel, abortion and federal judges.

Many believe that the president's choice of a Spanish church as his venue is an attempt to reach Latino evangelicals in particular as they are considered an important swing vote in November's election.

Rev. Tony Suarez, one of the President's faith advisors, appeared on Monday afternoon's edition of CBN's Newswatch to talk about the rally.

Newswatch is seen weekdays on the CBN News Channel.  For a programming guide, click here
