As Trump Admin Launches New Asylum Policy, World Relief Takes a Closer Look

The Trump administration announced a new immigration rule Monday saying asylum seekers who pass through another country first will not be eligible for asylum at the US southern border.

The US government is clearly overwhelmed by historic numbers of migrants. And last year a Pew poll found that just half of all Americans think the country should accept refugees. 

For more on the refugee issue, CBN News spoke with World Relief's Matt Soerens who consults with churches around the country on matters of immigration, asking whether US Christian are concerned about what's happening at the border.
