Pray for America - Day 12

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  –Romans 8:38-39CloseRomans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. DAY 12: "God Hears, God Sees"

When Hagar found herself in the desert alone with her young son and without food or drink, she felt rejected, numb and despondent. As she sobbed great tears of anguish, an angel of the Lord appeared to her, speaking words of comfort and hope. The angel instructed her to name her son Ishmael, meaning “God hears.” Then God opened Hagar’s eyes and she saw a well of water nearby. With a changed heart, she named it “Well of the Living One Who Sees Me.”

Pray and ask God to give us His eyes to see those around us who are lonely, feeling unloved, or fighting the battle of depression, and equip us to respond and deliver the message across America that indeed God hears, and God sees.
