Pray for America - Day 40
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. –
DAY 40: "God's Perfect Plan"
In , we read that God changes times and seasons. He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
As we face an election that will, in large part, determine the future direction of our nation, we pray for God’s perfect will to be done. We turn to Him as the One who can give us godly leaders, wise leaders, and leaders who have the courage to do what is right when they face fierce opposition.
We turn to Him and ask for peace and safety during the voting process as we choose our next president. We ask that He would root out any evil that seeks to sow seeds of chaos and grant us a fair and honest election.
May He give us leaders who will protect Christians around the world, provide for those in need, and most of all, return our nation to the biblical foundation that once made it a light to the world.
Lord, as we ask You to choose our nation’s leaders, we also trust You to lead us in the days ahead, to help us live our faith, love You more fully, and reach out to others with the love and mercy that You have shown to us.
