Stand & Pray Devotional - Day 59

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

DAY 59: "Conquering the Flesh"

Quarantine has offered an opportunity to indulge our flesh. The tendency to snack too much and exercise too little has birthed the phrase “the quarantine 15.” A few extra pounds can be overcome in time, but some engage in more risky behavior. Today, Lord, we pray for those facing alcoholism, drug addiction, and habits that can bring destruction. We pray that when the enemy comes in like a flood, You would raise up a standard. Please help all those facing turmoil in their homes and bring peace to our nation’s neighborhoods and families.
