Stand & Pray Devotional - Day 62

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

DAY 62: "Pursing Peace"

Jesus commanded us to love others as He loved us. It’s a tall order, only possible with the help of the Holy Spirit. We should also be at peace with others as much as possible. So today, we pray for peace, for unity in the body of Christ, and an attitude of love, kindness and humility toward our neighbors. Help us, Lord, empower us as we pray by Your Holy Spirit to be pursuers of kindness and peace.
