Stand & Pray Devotional - Day 64

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

DAY 64: "Giving Thanks"

We know that we have not because we ask not. However, we are to ask in a spirit of thanksgiving, knowing that God hears us and will answer us. Lord, we thank you today that we can trust You to meet every need in our lives and keep us by the power of Your Holy Spirit. How blessed we are to know Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We lift up our needs and the needs of those around us to You with a grateful heart because we know that You hear us as we pray. We know that You will answer in Your perfect wisdom and in Your perfect time.
