I wanted to call this post "Back to Normal," but Iraq hasn't seen normal in so many decades that nobody there remembers what "normal" is. Nevertheless, today's news out of Anbar shows that things continue to improve.

Many of us here in the news room watched on Friday as the American embassy in Serbia was burning. Serbs angered by Kosovo's announcement of independence rampaged through the streets and took out their aggression on the embassy. It doesn't look like the instability in the region is going to change anytime soon.  It's being fueled by leaders in the region.

You know Hillary Clinton wants to come out and just trash Barack Obama on his foreign policy experience. But she also knows that isn't what a good Democrat does because if Obama is the nominee, the Republicans will have a field day with those comments. Anti-Semitism is global and growing. That's one of the themes of a conference conducted today in Jerusalem. Israel's Foreign Ministry hosted the conference called "Global Forum on Combating Anti-Semitism."The Forum brought experts from around the world to discuss this ominous phenomenon.
