Chinese President to Visit White House Next Week

The White House is making preparations for a State Visit next week. President Obama will host Hu Jintao, President of China on Jan. 19. This is the third official "state visit" for this administration.

It will be complete with a State arrival ceremony, a joint press conference with the world leaders side-by-side and a state dinner.

In a press release, the Press Secretary said, "President Hu's visit will highlight the importance of expanding cooperation between the United States and China on bilateral, regional and global issues, as well as the friendship between the peoples of our two countries."
