Peanut Butter Fudge- Shelley Hamlet from Graham, NC

Ingredients:

5 cups of sugar
12 oz. can evaporated milk
7 oz. jar marshmallow creme
2 sticks of blue bonnett margarine
18 oz. peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
dash of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cooking Instructions:

In a large pan heat can milk, sugar, margarine and pinch of salt(on medium heat) until it reaches a boil. Stir constantly. Boil for 9 minutes. Remove from heat, quickly add peanut butter, fluff and vanilla, stir until completely smooth. Pour into lightly buttered 13x9 pan. Cool completely, cut into desired sized squares.

Memorable Moment:
My mom, sister, and I have traditionally made this recipe together since we were young. It has been one of our favorite Christmas treats and we still get together and make it to this day. Now it is one of our kids favorite treats.
