Huckabee in Israel: Part Two

08-21-2008

In this second part of our interview with former governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, we touched on both the U.S. presidential campaign and his Christian faith.

First of all, while speculation surrounding Obama and McCain's choice for vice president reaches a crescendo, we asked Huckabee whom he thought would make a good choice for McCain.

While he declined gracefully to name names, he then playfully took a fictitious call from McCain when asked what he would do if he got "the call" to be VP.

Huckabee then shared views about his participation in "The Call" in D.C. last week and how he feels as a Christian being in Israel once again.

Finally, he explained why the U.S. and Israel share such a common bond in today's world.
