I interviewed Breitbart at his home on Los Angeles last week.
Andrew Breitbart: "I prod. I poke at the hornets nest. I say OK, you're going to accuse Rush of poking the hornets nest my job is to poke your hornets nest and I enjoy it."
Andrew Breitbart: "The difference between me and Rush is Rush is accused of being uncivil with these people when in fact he’s polite with them. I'm not because I've had enough with the type of games that they play."
Andrew Breitbart: "I like to get into the gutter with these people. I derive a sick pleasure from it."
Andrew Breitbart: "I was made to counter-Alinsky Alinsky. I was meant to take on the left."
Andrew Breitbart: "These people don't fight fair. The left does not fight fair and so I'm basically saying to conservatives you don't have to fight fair."
Andrew Breitbart: "Christian turn the cheek tactics do not work against this crowd."
Andrew Breitbart: "I'm a Jewish conservative. I understand what it's like to be looked at weird at a Passover Seder because you voted for George W. Bush."
Andrew Breitbart: "I consider myself to be a Judeo-Christian. I fight on that side. I don't relate to the nihilists on the left. i don't relate to their world view. I relate to the world view that America has. It's a distinctly Judeo-Christian one and I think that it works."
