Last Friday, I was able to post here about the al Qaeda-engineered hostage crisis in Algeria before I was knocked for a nasty loop by a sinus infection.
Feeling better now, and with people seeking more information on al Qaeda's North Africa branch--known as al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM--in the wake of the Algeria mayhem, I wanted to highlight some of the cutting edge work we've done on the subject here at Stakelbeck on Terror over the past few years.
I first sounded the alarm about the rise of AQIM way back in October 2009, in a report you can watch here. Then click on the viewer below to watch a follow-up report I put together on the group one year later, in November 2010. That report features exclusive footage obtained by CBN News of AQIM training in the Sahara desert.
While you're at it, be sure to check out my October 2010 exclusive report on the role played by AQIM and Hugo Chavez's Venezuela in the transatlantic drug trade.
We're proud to be ahead of the curve here at CBN News on this and other emerging stories. So, be sure to keep it here for the latest on AQIM, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, Israel, Syria, the Muslim Brotherhood and all things terror and Middle East-related.
