It was a long-awaited homecoming for some of the missionaries arrested in Haiti.

Nearly 200 people greeted the returning team members with cheers and hymns as they arrived at the airport in Boise, Idaho.

"We're all very happy to be home. We're very grateful for all of your prayers your all of your support," one of the female missionaries told reporters. "We're still very overwhelmed, but we felt everyone's prayers. Our God is a mighty God, and He stood with us every second we were there, and He brought us home."

Residents in southern Peru are still cleaning up after last month's deadly flash floods and mudslides.

Heavy rains destroyed thousands of homes in the area, as well as 14,000 acres of farm land.

CBN's Operation Blessing International is on the ground, working together with local churches and coordinating with the regional government to bring aid to the most devastated areas.

So far, Operation Blessing has helped flood victims rescue a few of their belongings.

The aid organization is distributing water, blankets and mattresses in the hardest hit towns.
