Christmas Morning Cheese Danish - Robin from Maryland
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
Filling:
(2) 8 count pkg of crescent rolls
(2) 8 oz pkgs cream cheese (less cheese, use 1 1/2 pkg)
1 egg yolk (keep egg white)
2/3 cup sugar
Topping:
1/2 cup crushed pecans
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg

Cooking Instructions:
Line a 9 x 13 pan with one of the crescent roll packages (8 count). Spread filling on bottom layer. Top with the second 8-count package of rolls. Brush with beaten egg white. Sprinkle with topping.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Then, refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Cut into square pieces to desired size. Serve cold.
