America's most decorated Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller is celebrating being a five-year ovarian cancer survivor.

That type of cancer is one of the deadliest forms of the disease because most people don't discover they have it until the later stages.

Miller talked with CBN News about how she discovered her cancer. She shares the warning signs all women should be looking for.

She also advocates a first-of-its kind website, called Know Pelvic Mass designed to educate women long before an ovarian cancer diagnosis.

After captivating the world with her gold-medal-winning balance beam routine at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Miller is now commenting on the upcoming Rio games, including the Zika virus threat there.
