It probably doesn't come as a shock -- but a lot of women are physically worn out and weary!
Most of us often complain about feeling fatigued or exhausted, and yet we keep pushing.
We seem to do it all -- child-rearing, cooking and cleaning. And for those of us who work outside the house too, the stress is just that much more, basically, we have two jobs!
And for women like me, who work in ministry, the stress is constant.
But we often feel guilty at the thought of slowing down or taking it easy.
That guilt is NOT from God!
God gives us this personal invitation, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28-30.
The Message version says it like this, "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." (Matthew 11:28-30, MSG)

Listed below are a few more ideas for us ladies to consider:
- Meditate (especially on God's life-giving Word)
- Indulge in a hot bath
- Enjoy an aromatherapy massage at least once a month
- Get a facial, manicure and/or pedicure
- Listen to worship music or other favorite, uplifting tunes
- Engage in daily exercise
- Create a relaxation room at home (include things that make you feel good such as flowers, pillows, pictures, etc.)
- Hire some help around the house - even if it's someone just to do basic cleaning for you once a week or every other week. You may say you don't have money for it in your budget but look for ways or barter services.
