When it comes to health care reform and abortion, the Pro-Lifers are just getting warmed up. The President had his moment Wednesday night to push his agenda but now get ready for some heavy hitting conservative pro-life Evangelicals to take their turn.

The Family Research Councilis hosting a one hour "National Townhall Webcast on Health Care Reform" tonight at 8:30pm ET. Read more here.

Some big time conservative Republicans will make an appearance including Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC), House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and Rep. Charles Boustany (R-LA) who delivered the Republican response to the President last night. An excerpt from the FRC release is below:

"FRC Action President Tony Perkins will be joined by Congressional leaders and policy experts to discuss the moral, ethical, and financial dangers of President Obama's health care plan. Webcast viewers will be able to: get their questions answered, dissect the dangers inherent in the President's proposed plan and examine the life and death implications this will have for themselves and their loved ones."

Folks, here's why the abortion angle isn't going away. You have a couple reputable fact checking organizations who say the President is not being entirely true when he says "no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions." Read more here  about why that statement doesn't really tell the whole picture.

Look, you may think that these pro-life conservative politicians and groups are just voices in the wilderness but remember this. House Democrat Bart Stupak who is passionately pro-life has told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that he's got close to 40 pro-life Democrats who will be able to block the health care reform bill from coming to the House floor if the language concerning abortion is not amended. Read more about this from my colleague Jennifer Wishon. Click here.

The Public Option gets the most attention but if something is not done to address the abortion funding issue then the President and Nancy Pelosi are going to have a big problem on their hands.
