Brody File Exclusive: Donald Trump To Speak With Pat Robertson At Regent University

01-13-2016

The Brody File has learned that Donald Trump will sit down with Pat Robertson one-on-one and speak to Christian college students at Regent University as part of the school’s Presidential Candidates' Forum series. Trump will be on the Virginia Beach campus February 24th. The GOP presidential frontrunner will get an opportunity to give a campaign-style speech in front of hundreds of students followed by a one-on-one interview with Dr. Robertson. The event will be streamed live and a large segment of it will be broadcast on The 700 Club the following day.

Regent University has been reaching out to all the presidential candidates during this election cycle. So far, Jeb Bush and John Kasich have appeared at the presidential forum. Plans are in the works to have Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio make appearances at Regent as well but nothing has been confirmed.

Regent University was established by Pat Robertson in the late 1970’s and is considered one of the country’s leading universities when it comes to Christian thought and achievement. Trump has not shied away from taking his message into evangelical circles despite not being thought of as your typical evangelical candidate. Yet he polls well with conservative Christians. He’ll also speak at Liberty University this coming Monday.
