As of Friday morning, 3,035 Israeli have tested positive for COVID-19 as the death toll continues to rise. Israel’s Soroka Medical Center reported on Friday morning that a 93-year-old man died, bringing the death toll up to 10.

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu enacted new and more restrictive measures to combat COVID-19. As of Thursday afternoon, more than 2,600 Israelis have been infected and eight elderly Israelis with pre-existing medical conditions have died.
