Bill Koenig on President Bush's Mideast Trip

01-18-2008

How would you have liked to travel with President Bush on his recent trip throughout the Middle East? On Thursday afternoon, we interviewed Bill Koenig just after the President completed his last stop in Sharm el-Sheik and his meeting with Egypt's President Hosni Mubarek.

Koenig traveled with the White House press corps as they followed the President from Israel, Kuwait, some Gulf States, Saudi Arabia, and finally Egypt. The trip addressed some of the major issues like the Israeli- Palestinian conflict and the burgeoning price of oil.

Koenig serves as the White House correspondent for Koenig's International News at www.watch.org. His daily news service includes World Watch Daily and he's also the author of Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel.  I think you'll find Koenig's analysis and impressions of Bush's recent Middle East trip very insightful.
