"This visit was a lot more emotional for me," says CBN News Correspondent Heather Sells. 

Heather has reported from the US border with Mexico many times, but this time she spent with border patrol agents was different.

"I was with them when they were apprehending families. I saw several families that as soon as they got over the border and border patrol took them into custody there were just tears streaming down their faces – one dad in particular and it was very moving and the border patrol agents were saying ‘You’re safe, you’re safe’,” she recalls.

"And in my mind, and I’m thinking the family’s minds, they’re thinking 'yes, thank God I’m safe right now. I just made it past all that danger and violence in my home country and in Mexico,' but of course, they don’t know their future… and there’s a very good chance they’ll be sent back to Mexico.”
