Ugh! I Can't Believe It's Snowing!

01-17-2008

My political producer, Robin Mazyck is at it again. She shoved me out of the way to guest write this blog. Right now we're in Columbia, S. Carolina covering all the uncertainty that is the GOP presidential race.

But we're well rounded here at The Brody File.

We do more than just political reporting. So, without further ado, here's Robin with the following weather report for your enjoyment:

I can't believe it's snowing! We left New Hampshire last week where it was a lovely 50 degrees. There was slush everywhere because the snow was melting. Fifty-degree weather in New Hampshire in January is so not the norm.

So we come to my beloved home state of South Carolina and what greets us? SNOW!! Snow in South Carolina is so not the norm either.

It's a chilly 38 degrees here in the Midlands. Temperatures are expected to drop a bit, but the snow is expected to turn to rain by 1 a.m. The roads shouldn't be a problem, but to be safe, many schools in the area delayed.

For all you who are from the South you know the tiniest amount of snow can shut down an entire city. So it's safe to say that grocery stores here in Columbia are probably all out of bread and milk.

David can't believe what's going on, and I have to be honest, it's fun watching him scratch his head at all of this.

At any rate, we're off to cover Fred Thompson and John McCain tomorrow. Let's hope this wintry mix will indeed clear up, so we can head out on the campaign bright and early.

That's it for now. Make sure you check for new updates on election 2008 here on The Brody File and on CBNNews.com.

See ya later!
