Hillary Clinton is a “Foxy” Lady

05-02-2008
Did you see Hillary Clinton’s interview with Bill O’Reilly of Fox News? It was compelling and she was brilliant. She was able to stay true to her principles while at the same time keep a smile on her face and mix it up with O’Reilly as well. If that interview was a painting, it would be considered a “Picasso.” It was a masterpiece.
Viewers got to see a candidate who’s extremely engaged on the issues, someone who is sharp as a tack and intellectually superior. They also some something else: her personality.

I’ve been on the campaign trail a lot and I’ve seen her up close and personal. You definitely get a different impression of her when you cover her. Don’t take my word for it. I have spoken to many die-hard conservatives who cover her on a daily basis and while they may not personally agree with her policies, they’ve come to actually like her. They see a different side of her that the public DOES NOT see. She’s actually quite funny. Does she have her faults? Sure. But doing interviews with O’Reilly brings out the best in her and showcases for America a woman who has the skills to be President.

The question for her has always been can she overcome her high negatives? Personality plays a huge role in any presidential campaign. Showing Clinton’s playful, funny, jovial side while at the same time displaying her feisty, intellectual brain is a winning combination for the Clinton campaign. The O’Reilly interview is the model for how it should be done.
