The Brody File is not at my home base in Washington, DC today. No. Instead I write this blog from near Detroit where I just completed a 10 minute one-on-one interview with Barack Obama.
The Obama campaign called The Brody File Monday night asking if I would be able to come to Taylor, Michigan today to interview Obama.
Like what am I supposed to say? Umm. Sorry. Can't make it. Need to do laundry. Of course I went.
Excerpts from the interview will start moving tonight on The Brody File and Wednesday morning.
The topics included the attacks on Michelle Obama, his outreach to Evangelicals, his position on abortion, the conflict black conservatives may be feeling, the possibility of being the first black President, the importance of being a responsible father and the meeting he had recently with Franklin Graham and other religious leaders.
