Senator Joe Lieberman wasn’t too thrilled with Barack Obama’s Berlin speech. I asked him about that in my one on one interview today. Lieberman’s full answer is above but his bottom line is transcribed below: (this is only a partial transcription)
"I will admit to you that seeing Senator Obama there in Berlin with 200,000 people it was really surprising and Senator Obama is a great speaker but honestly what he said about the citizen of the world and we just come together it's a lovely thought but it's not really what freed the citizen of Berlin."
