Exclusive: Mark Meadows Says President Trump's Tweets At Him Are Part of The Art Of The Deal

In a one-on-one interview with The Brody File, Congressman Mark Meadows says as leader of the House Freedom Caucus he doesn’t take President Trump’s tweets at hi, personally but admits being a punching bag can be difficult. “I don’t take his tweets as personal. They’re part of the negotiation, part of getting people to move, to get people to a ‘yes.’ Being a punching bag is difficult because sometimes the narratives are just not true.”

Meadows  and his Freedom Caucus members are a key group of constitutional conservatives and President Trump needs the bulk of their votes or house legislative agenda dies a slow death in the House.
