'He's Not My President!': The 'Tolerant' Left's Treatment of Trump

Leftists often accuse evangelical Christians and conservatives of being intolerant of people with whom they disagree, but as Donald Trump's Inaugural approaches, it's the left that is acting intolerantly.

"He's not my president!" many of them shout.

The group #DisruptJ20 says "it must be made clear to the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his (Trump's) presidency or consent to his rule."

Sixty members of Congress are boycotting Trump's swearing in ceremony including Georgia civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis who called Trump an "illegitimate president."

That despite Trump having received 304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton's 227. So much for a disapproving "vast majority."

During the presidential campaign, some members of the mainstream media and others depicted Trump supporters as a bunch of angry "deplorables" who would act violently if challenged.

But enterprising journalists with Project Veritas proved that anti-Trump Leftists actually hired people to disrupt Trump rallies by enticing his supporters into physical confrontations. Acts of rally violence were actually committed by activists on the left.

While 73 percent of evangelicals voted for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., in 2008, they didn't turn out in mass demonstrations against Barack Obama during his first inaugural because they were upset that he had won the election. There was no violence, no Inaugural disruptions.

In fact, The New York Times reported protestors were "few and scattered" as Mr. Obama "assumed the presidency."

So, why didn't throngs of disgruntled evangelicals and conservatives pour into D.C. streets in angry protest?

They chose to love their neighbor and fight their battles on their knees and in the halls of the U.S. Congress rather than on the streets of our nation's capital.

Not so today for America's Leftists.

I've reported about presidential inaugurations for many years now. This will be my 11th and I cannot recall ever seeing an irascible response like this one against Donald Trump, and it could easily turn ugly.

In a new undercover video report, the folks at Project Veritas say Left-wingers are plotting violent acts to disrupt Trump's Inaugural.

PV's James O'Keefe reports an effort called #DisruptJ20 is being led by the Anti-Fascist Coalition. The group plans to wreak havoc on an inaugural ball called the Deploraball by using "stink bombs" and triggering sprinkler systems to rain down on inaugural celebrants.

Watch Part One of the Project Veritas video here:

Other Leftists are plotting to shut down DC Metro stations and major transit routes to prevent people from attending various Inaugural events and parties. Some are planning to destroy public property, create blockades, riot and create Inaugural mayhem.

Which groups are involved, and how do they plan to execute the disruptions?

Watch Part Two of the Project Veritas report here:

The Inaugural boycott, statements about Trump's presidential legitimacy, violence and hatred will not prevent Trump from becoming the 45th President of The United States. So what's the point?

All of this makes Trump's job (and ours) to unite the country more difficult.

United we stand, divided we fall.

It's crucial that we come together as "One Nation Under God"-- to pray for a peaceful Inaugural and a smooth transition.

Pray for America's new president and the success of our nation.

His success is ours.
