Prophetic Storm Warnings

Sometimes it's good to look back over prophetic words that you have received over the years to see what has transpired and to give clarity to the tapestry that God may be weaving as a picture for your life. This is true for individual believers, but it is also true for the Church as a whole. The Bible tells us: 

Just as He has throughout the history of mankind, God is speaking through His prophets today. It is the wise Christian who carefully considers the words of proven prophets as one of the key ways that God communicates with His people -- and the world -- today.

Recently Charisma Magazine re-published a prophetic word from James Goll, someone who has a solid track record when it comes to prophetic utterance. I believe this word, given just before the end of the last century and the beginning of this New Millennium, is timely and gives clarity to the issues we are now facing. I offer this "storm warning" for your prayerful consideration, along with the insightful introduction from the Charisma editors.

Let us not allow fear to overtake us in these times. But instead, let's see what is happening around us as the first birth pangs signaling the return of Jesus. We don't know the hour our the day of His return. So let's work as though He is not coming in our lifetime, but live as though He is coming today!
